About The Role

We are looking for a Plant Operator to join our Roads and Drainage Maintenance team.

We are looking for a Plant Operator to join our Roads and Drainage Maintenance team.

You will assist in the delivery of maintenance works across Council's road and drainage infrastructure network, operating graders and other civil construction plant safely and efficiently to ensure high-quality outcomes for the community.

Responsibilities

- Operate graders and other civil construction plant to grade, shape and maintain unsealed roads, drainage networks, road shoulders, and related infrastructure.
- Contribute to the delivery of roads and drainage maintenance operations.
- Complete vehicle inspections and basic maintenance to ensure vehicles and equipment remain safe and operational.
- Champion workplace safety by following procedures, reporting hazards, and promoting safe work practices within the team.

About You

To be successful in these roles, you will have:

- Current HR Class Drivers licence.
- The ability to work effectively within a team to achieve operational targets.
- Have a safety-first approach to your team and works

This is a permanent full-time position with a salary commencing at $76,889 plus 12.5% superannuation.
