As Systems Engineer, you'll provide hands‑on technical expertise across infrastructure and end user compute, with a strong focus on Windows Server, VMware, and Azure. The role spans BAU and project work, supporting system‑wide integration and driving operational improvements across a complex, evolving environment.

- $120,000 to $130,000 plus Super
- Exposure to a broad, complex environment spanning infrastructure, identity, and end user compute
- Genuine mix of BAU and project work, with room to drive automation and improvement initiatives

Duties / Key Responsibilities

- Support and optimise core infrastructure across Windows Server, VMware, and Azure from L3 as an escalation from the service desk.
- Manage Active Directory and Entra ID, including hybrid identity and integrations with a mix of project and
- Manage end user compute environment across Microsoft 365, Intune, and device management




- Drive automation and operational improvements using PowerShell
- Support AD integration initiatives, including identity lifecycle management

Skills and Experience

- Strong systems engineering background across infrastructure and end user compute
- Solid experience across Windows Server, VMware, and Azure environments
- Advanced PowerShell scripting and automation capability
- Solid experience across Microsoft 365, Intune, and endpoint management
- Working knowledge of Active Directory and Entra ID, including hybrid identity
- Positive understanding of networking fundamentals (ideally Fortinet)
- Proactive approach, with the ability to take ownership across BAU, projects, and occasional Service Desk support
- Strong collaboration skills and ability to work across technical teams
