Service Leader – Residential (Full Time)

The Opportunity
Are you ready to step into a leadership role where you'll make a real difference every day? ConnectGV is seeking a passionate and motivated Service Leader – Residential to join our team in Shepparton on a full-time basis.
In this rewarding leadership role, you will lead a team delivering high-quality, person-centred residential services for people with disability.
You will oversee the day-to‑day operations of two residential homes that are next door to each other, ensuring participants receive safe, responsive, and individualised supports that promote independence, choice, and inclusion.
Working closely with participants, families, support networks, and internal stakeholders, you will foster a positive team culture while ensuring services are delivered in accordance with NDIS Practice Standards, organisational policies, and legislative requirements. Key Responsibilities
- Lead a team of Disability Support Workers to deliver outstanding residential services aligned with each participant's NDIS goals.
- Coordinate staff rosters, support planning, medication management, and the day‑to‑day operations of residential services.
- Build trusted relationships with participants, families, advocates, and community stakeholders.
- Drive quality, compliance, continuous improvement,
and service innovation while ensuring compliance with NDIS Practice Standards and ConnectGV policies.
- Be able to negotiate a full-time roster that meets your needs and the needs of the organisation.
- Participate in the shared on‑call roster with the Residential Leadership Team.
About You
- Relevant qualification in Disability, Community Services, Health, or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience in disability, community, or health services, including experience leading or coordinating teams.
- A capable and compassionate leader with a collaborative leadership style.
- Strong communication, planning, organisational, and problem‑solving skills.
- Sound understanding of person‑centred practice, the NDIS, safeguarding, and quality standards.
- Commitment to inclusion, human rights, participant choice, and delivering high‑quality, person‑centred services.
- Ability to work collaboratively and contribute positively to team culture.
Highly Desirable
- Diploma or tertiary qualification in Community Services, Disability, Leadership, Management, or a related discipline.
- Experience leading or working within a residential disability accommodation services for a period of time.
- Knowledge of workforce planning, rostering systems, medication governance, quality assurance, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Employment Requirements
- Hold or obtain a current NDIS Worker Screening Check.
- Hold or obtain a current Working with Children Check.
- Hold or obtain a current National Criminal History Check (Police Check).
- Hold a current Victorian Driver Licence.
- Complete all mandatory training requirements.
- Successfully complete pre‑employment screening checks.
- Meet any role-specific licensing, qualification, registration, or vaccination requirements.
