About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and reliable Tiling Labourer to join our growing renovations team. This is a casual position offering full-time hours, working across a range of high-quality residential renovation projects throughout Brisbane.

This role is ideal for someone with previous tiling experience who is looking to further develop their skills and work alongside experienced tradespeople in a supportive team environment. The successful applicant will be hardworking, eager to learn, and committed to delivering quality outcomes on every project.

Duties & Responsibilities

- Assisting qualified tilers with bathroom, laundry, kitchen, and residential renovation projects.
- Preparing work areas and ensuring materials, tools, and equipment are ready for installation.
- Assisting with tile cutting, mixing adhesives and grouts, and general tile installation activities.
- Surface preparation including cleaning, levelling, and substrate preparation.
- Grouting, silicone application, cleaning, and finishing work.
- Loading, unloading, and transporting materials and equipment.
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised worksite.
- Working independently and as part of a team.
- Coordinating effectively with carpenters, plumbers, electricians,



and other trades to ensure projects run smoothly and on schedule.
- Ensuring all work complies with relevant industry standards and workplace safety requirements.

Skills & Experience

- Previous experience in tiling or the construction industry preferred.
- Current Construction White Card.
- Current Driver's Licence and reliable transport.
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
- Reliable, punctual, and professional attitude.
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively within a team.
- Good communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship.
- Physically fit and capable of performing manual labour and heavy lifting.
- Ability to work in a quick-paced residential renovation environment.
- Basic knowledge of tiling tools, materials, and processes highly regarded.
- Commitment to workplace safety and quality standards.
