Position Summary Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, the Trade Assistant will join a supportive and collaborative Maintenance and Reliability team at Harvey Beef, Western Australia’s largest beef processor. The role involves working in a rotating day/night roster (7‑day fortnight rotation), assisting Fitters with repairs and maintenance of plant equipment, and maintaining the workshop and associated equipment in a safe, clean, and tidy condition at our state‑of‑the‑art facility in Harvey, WA.

Key Responsibilities - Assist Fitters in repairing and servicing plant equipment.

- Lubricate all plant equipment including hand tools.




- Clean workshop area and tools.
- Perform other routine duties as required. What We’re Looking For - High school certificate or equivalent education, or one to three months of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Forklift certificate (desirable).
- Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and the ability to learn and develop.
- Hold a current national Manual "C" class driver’s license.
- Previous mechanical experience.
