Wandiyali is an Aboriginal Community Controlled Organisation, established in Newcastle in 1997. We are the largest accredited Aboriginal provider of PSP OOHC within Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Hunter Region, and Port Stephens. Wandiyali also has a number of Preservation Programs and support services that work closely with children, young people and families.

The Opportunity As a Wandi Trainee Receptionist, you will provide administrative support to staff at Wandiyali in order to facilitate a high-level service delivery.

The Trainee

Receptionist is generally the first point of contact with clients and visitors of Wandiyali service, as such, it is essential that the Trainee Receptionist is pleasant, courteous, highly qualified and able to interact with a wide and diverse range of people.

The Trainee

Receptionist is responsible for greeting clients and visitors professionally and directing phone calls as required and will be responsible for managing and maintaining systems and databases.

- High level customer service skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Exceptional Organisation and ability to multitask
- High level of attention to detail
- Sound computer skills
- Intermediate level of MS Office experience
- Ability to manage a demanding phone system
- Driver’s License and own vehicle – Essential
