Eleanor Duncan Aboriginal Services (EDAS) is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Trainee – Reception and Administration Worker to join our team and complete a Certificate III in Business while gaining valuable hands-on workplace experience.
This is an excellent opportunity for a school leaver, someone returning to the workforce, or a person looking to build a long-term career in business administration within a supportive and culturally safe workplace. The successful applicant will work across our community hub, Medical and Dental Centres.

About the Role
As a Trainee – Reception and Administration Worker, you will learn and develop practical skills in:
- Reception and front-of-house customer service
- Answering telephone and email enquiries
- Providing information and directing clients to appropriate services
- Calendar and appointment management
- Meeting coordination, minute taking and document preparation
- Data entry and record management
- Maintaining filing systems and office resources
- Supporting teams across the organisation with administration tasks
- Developing professional communication and workplace skills
- Working within confidentiality,
privacy and organisational policies and procedures
Throughout the traineeship, you will be supported by experienced staff and a registered training provider to successfully complete your Certificate III in Business.

Essential Requirements
- Current NSW Driver Licence or willingness to obtain
- Current NSW Working with Children Check or willingness to obtain
- Ability to obtain a satisfactory National Police Check
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to working in a culturally safe and respectful environment
