Our Ritchie Bros. Auctioneers is looking for an energetic, customer-focusedEquipment Inspectorto join the team in Perth (Muchea) Yardon a permanent basis to support our WA team.
Equipment Inspectors are part of our Detailed Equipment Information (DEI) team. They perform accurate and thorough visual inspections and functional testing on Heavy Equipment.
They also:
Identify and record all detailed information through Inspector app for Mars Program.
Accountability of quality assurance and correctly identifying detail of equipment.
Liaise and assist Sales team with appraisals and ‘building’ inspections through photos.
Performing various yard duties such as operating all equipment in yard, preparing yard for auction, staging equipment for auction and maintaining a clean and organised yard.
Liaising with consigners and sales team to assist with organisation of refurbishment through outside suppliers/contractors.
Liaising with internal staff and buyers regarding collection and loadout post-auction.
Maintaining registers of equipment in yard and movement of equipment pre- and post-sale.
You will be required to work in the yard as well as the office and have excellent customer service skills while dealing with our buyers & sellers.
