At our Western Haematology and Oncology Clinics (WHOC) in West Perth, we are looking for passionate registered nurses for a part‑time permanent opportunity. The position is 30 hours per week on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday set days during normal business hours.

The role reports to the Nursing Unit Manager and offers you the chance to be an integral part of our dynamic and dedicated nursing team.

Support and training, including career development opportunities, will be provided to help you succeed.

Key Responsibilities

- Deliver evidence‑based, comprehensive oncology nursing care.
- Practice in accordance with state‑based Health Legislation and ACQSHC National Standards.
- Provide holistic nursing care, high‑level patient assessments, and referrals for optimal patient outcomes.
- Contribute to quality improvements and collaborate with the Quality and Clinical Governance team to ensure best practices.
- Conduct nursing observations and administer medications in line with policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with oncologists and the multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications And Skills

- Current and unrestricted registration and experience as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA.
- Experience administering cytotoxic chemotherapy and related cancer treatments, including ADAC chemotherapy competency.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrating empathy for patients and their caregivers.
- Robust clinical and problem‑solving abilities.
- Effective care planning and coordination skills.
- Dedication to quality improvement and evidence‑based practice.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team.

Desirable

- Competency in CVAD management, IV cannulation and phlebotomy.
- Experience in clinical trials.
