P.J. Recruitment & Executive Search has been exclusively engaged to appoint a Head of Aged & Disability Operations for a highly regarded community-based not-for-profit.

As the organisation strengthens its service model and prepares for the next stage of sector reform, it is seeking an experienced operational leader to bring structure, pace and steady leadership to a significant care portfolio.

Reporting to the Director, Aged & Disability, you will oversee home care, disability programs, workforce planning and service delivery teams.

This broad senior leadership role carries responsibility for both strategy and execution. You will ensure services remain high quality, compliant, financially sustainable and genuinely centred around client needs.

The role

- Service delivery across aged care and disability programs
- Workforce performance, capability and planning
- Funding utilisation and operational performance
- Service improvement and redesign
- Systems improvement, data visibility and client experience




- Change across large and diverse teams

You will bring clear accountability, practical structure and momentum, while protecting the human side of care.

About you

This opportunity will suit a senior operational leader with:

- Deep experience across aged care, disability or community services
- Strong knowledge of Home Care Packages, Support at Home and/or the NDIS
- Experience leading large, distributed and multidisciplinary teams
- A track record of improving workforce, systems and service performance
- Strong operational and commercial judgement
- The ability to lead change and build trust across diverse teams
- A values-led leadership style
