About the role

As Senior Bid Manager, you will take ownership of the full tender lifecycle, from pursuit planning and bid strategy through to submission and handover. You will partner with operational leaders, technical specialists and commercial teams to develop compelling,



client-focused proposals that position McConnell Dowell for success.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead end-to-end management of major tenders and strategic pursuits
- Develop winning bid strategies, themes and value propositions
- Coordinate multidisciplinary teams to deliver aligned bid submissions
- Manage tender governance, schedules, budgets and review processes
- Drive high-quality, compliant and compelling client-focused submissions
- Support bid handover and continuous improvement across bidding practices

About You

- Extensive bid management experience within construction, engineering or infrastructure
- Proven success leading complex, high-value tender submissions
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to identify and manage bid risk
- Exceptional stakeholder engagement and influencing skills
- Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Strategic thinker with outstanding written communication and proposal development skills
