Stepping Stone Clubhouse Inc. (SSCI) is seeking an experienced and values-driven Unit Leader to lead the Reception, Automobile and Maintenance (RAM) Unit at our Brisbane South Clubhouse.

This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who combines people leadership, operational coordination and strong community engagement skills and wants to contribute to an inclusive community creating pathways to better mental health.

Working closely with the Clubhouse Director, the RAM Unit Leader will supervise and support RAM Unit staff, coordinate essential Clubhouse operations and work side by side with members throughout the work-ordered day.

About Stepping Stone Clubhouse Inc.

SSCI is a not-for-profit organisation based on the internationally recognised Clubhouse model, creating communities where people experiencing mental ill-health rebuild meaningful lives.

Our purpose is creating pathways to better mental health, with a vision of a society that enables all people to become the best version of themselves.

At the heart of our work is the Clubhouse International model, where members and staff work side by side to operate the Clubhouse and create opportunities for social connection, employment, education and community participation.

Our values guide everything we do:

Purpose | Enjoyment | Agility | Belonging | Community

SSCI is an accredited NDIS provider and works with partners including Queensland Health, the Primary Health Network and other community organisations.

About the Role The RAM Unit Leader provides values-based leadership to the Reception, Automobile and Maintenance Unit and contributes to the effective day-to-day operation of Brisbane South Clubhouse.

The role oversees reception and visitor experiences, Clubhouse tours, fleet and maintenance coordination, communication activities, operational systems and member participation within the RAM Unit.

You will provide day-to-day supervision and support to RAM Unit Mental Health Support Workers, helping to establish clear expectations, role clarity, professional development and a positive and accountable team culture.

You will also work alongside members in reception, administration, communications, fleet and maintenance activities, events and broader Clubhouse programs.

This is dynamic and varied role combining people leadership, operational coordination, systems improvement, member engagement and practical participation in Clubhouse activities.

Employment Conditions

- Full-time, permanent position
- Classified as Social and Community Services Employee Level 5 under the Social, Community, Home Care and Disability Services Industry Award 2010
- Ordinary working hours are generally between 8.30 am and 4.30 pm, Monday to Friday. The role also requires flexibility to work occasional early starts, evenings, weekends and overnight stays associated with Clubhouse camps and activities.
