In the Vacation Student - Mining Engineer role, you'll gain hands‑on experience supporting mine planning and operational activities across our mining operations. Working alongside experienced engineers, you'll contribute to projects that help optimise production, improve efficiency and support safe mining practices.

Responsibilities - Assist with mine planning and production activities

- Support drill and blast design, implementation and analysis
- Contribute to production reporting and equipment performance reviews
- Assist with operational improvement and optimisation projects
- Analyse mining data to identify trends and opportunities
- Support engineering studies and technical investigations
- Work closely with mining, geology and processing teams to deliver operational outcomes About the Candidate We're looking for motivated students who are curious, hands‑on and keen to grow their technical skills.

Qualifications - Studying Mining Engineering or a related discipline

- Demonstrating an interest in mining operations and mine planning
- A strong problem‑solver with analytical thinking skills
- A confident communicator and team player
- Willing to live and work in a regional mining setting
- Hold a valid manual driver's licence Work Environment - 12 weeks of paid industry experience (December to February)
- Hands‑on exposure to mining operations and technical services
