The Position

Loreto Toorak is seeking organised and professional VCE Examination Supervisors to support the administration and supervision of Victorian Curriculum and Assessment Authority (VCAA) and internal examinations throughout the remainder of the 2026 academic year.

As a casual employee you will be employed directly by Loreto Toorak with rate of pay aligned to the rate set by the VCAA of approximately $38 per hour + 12% superannuation.

Working under the direction of the Chief Examination Supervisor, the VCE Exam Supervisor is responsible for supporting the successful delivery of VCE examinations by maintaining a calm, secure and well-managed examination environment. The role ensures that all examination procedures are conducted in accordance with School and VCAA requirements, enabling students to complete their assessments fairly and with confidence.

Casual opportunities are available throughout the peak examination period from September to late November.

Our key dates for examinations requiring availability are as follows:

- Trial Exams – Monday 28 September to Friday 2 October
- CCAFL Exams – Thursday 15 October




- Written Exams – Monday 26 October to Wednesday 18 November
- Training date to be confirmed

The VCAA requirements to be a VCE Exam Supervisor, state that you are not:
- Related to, or associated with, any student required to sit the GAT or any student undertaking a VCE Unit 3 or 4 study in 2026 at the school where I am employed.
- Teaching any student required to sit the GAT or teaching any student in a VCE Unit 3 or 4 study in 2026.
- Tutoring a student required to sit the GAT or tutoring a student in a VCE Unit 3 or 4 study in 2026 at the school where I am employed.
- Related to or associated with any person engaged in teaching, tutoring or coaching any students required to sit the GAT, or any students undertaking a VCE Unit 3 or 4 study in 2026, or any school personnel engaged in organising or checking VCE external assessment materials at the school where I am employed.
- Employed at the school as a teacher (excluding CRT) or member of the administration staff.

About You The successful candidate will be available to work across all key examination dates listed above and will ideally have previous experience supporting the conduct and administration of VCE and/or semester examinations. However, candidates who are reliable,



highly organised and able to work confidently within a structured examination environment are encouraged to apply. Successful applicants must hold, or be willing to obtain prior to commencement, a valid Working with Children Check (Employee).
