About Us:

Campbelltown North Animal Hospital, affectionately known as "Dr. Spot," has been providing exceptional care to the small companion animals of the Macarthur region for over 25 years. We are a well-equipped practice with modern facilities, including digital radiology, IDEXX Catalyst + Procyte, SediVue, IM3 dental equipment, and digital dental radiology.

Due to expansion, we are looking for a compassionate and dedicated Veterinary Nurses to join our team on a casual basis.

About the Role:

As a Veterinary Nurse at Dr. Spot, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills and gain valuable experience across a range of clinical and client-facing duties. The role is split between nursing and reception duties, rotated weekly for a well-balanced and varied workday.

Your responsibilities will include

Clinical Nursing Duties:

- Triaging emergencies and providing critical care
- Assisting with surgeries, anaesthesia monitoring, and post-operative care
- IV catheter placement, blood collection, and running in-house diagnostics
- Providing compassionate care to patients in hospital

Reception Duties:

- Scheduling appointments and managing client communications
- Processing insurance claims, payments, and discharges
- Providing excellent customer service and maintaining a welcoming environment

About You:



We are looking for someone with a genuine passion to join our friendly team.

- You have at least 2 years’ experience in general practice and are confident in handling emergencies, anaesthesia monitoring, and nursing procedures.
- A compassionate and confident communicator who works well both with animals and their owners
- Eager to contribute to a supportive team environment and grow your skills

Job Type: Casual

Pay: $30.00 – $34.00 per hour base rate

Expected hours: 9- 38 per week

Education:
- Certificate I - IV (Preferred)

Experience:
- Veterinary nurse: 2 years (Preferred)

Licence/Certification:
