At The Rabbit and Bird Doctors, we provide exceptional care to Victoria's rabbits, birds, guinea pigs, rats and other small herbivores. We're passionate about patient welfare, client education and supporting local rescue organisations, and we're searching for a dedicated Veterinary Nurse or Veterinary Technician to join our exceptional team.

Despite our busy caseload, our patients help create a calm and rewarding atmosphere that's quite different from a typical general practice clinic. It's one of the many reasons our team loves what they do.

We Value Work Life Balance

We believe that excellent veterinary nurses need time to recharge and enjoy life outside of work. This full-time role includes:

- 72 hours per fortnight
- A 4-day work week (4 x 9-hour shifts)
- 1 in 4 Saturday rotation
- Regular team social events
- On-site coffee caravan for your daily caffeine fix

About You You'll be someone who:

- Holds a Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing or Bachelor of Veterinary Technology.
- Is enthusiastic, motivated and proactive.
- Enjoys contributing to a positive, inclusive team culture.
- Holds, or is willing to obtain, VNCA accreditation.
- Is passionate about client education and delivering compassionate patient care.
- Can work independently while also being a strong team player.
- Has a genuine interest in rabbits, birds, guinea pigs and rats.
