About the role

Melbourne Medical & Skin Cancer Centre is seeking a VR General Practitioner /Nursing and Medical Admin staff to join our growing team in Coburg, Victoria. This is a full-time position that offers an exciting chance to deliver up-to-date healthcare services. This role represents the future of accessible healthcare delivery, allowing you to serve patients across a broader geographical area whilst working from our well-equipped practice facilities.

Key responsibilities

- Providing diagnosis, treatment recommendations and prescriptions through consultations in accordance with best practice guidelines
- Maintaining detailed, accurate medical records and documentation for all consultations
- Managing chronic disease conditions and providing ongoing preventative care
- Referring patients to specialists and allied health professionals when clinically appropriate
- Collaborating with clinical staff to ensure seamless integration
- Adhering to all regulatory requirements, privacy standards and professional conduct guidelines
- Contributing to continuous improvement of service delivery and patient satisfaction
- Participating in clinical education and professional development activities
- For admin staff with previous experience in health industry

What we're looking for

- Current Specialist registration with the Australian Medical Board
- Substantial experience as a General Practitioner
- Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills, with the ability to make sound clinical judgements
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with patients
- Proficiency with digital health systems, electronic medical records and telehealth technology
- Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain) and National Police Clearance
- Knowledge of bulk billing systems and Medicare requirements
