We are looking for a reliable and motivated Warehouse Assistant to join our friendly small team at our Burleigh Heads warehouse.
About the role
This is a hands-on warehouse position with primary responsibility for managing our backstock - the large cartons of products stored on our warehouse racking - and ensuring our picking shelves are regularly and accurately replenished. You will have plenty of independence and the chance to take ownership of your area, organise your workload and make the role your own. Because we are a small business and warehouse team, reliability, punctuality and a strong work ethic are essential.
The regular working hours are 9:00 am to 1:00 pm, Monday to Friday, with the opportunity for additional hours during busy periods.
Key responsibilities
· Managing and organising cartons of backstock on warehouse racking · Monitoring stock levels and replenishing picking shelves as required
· Safely operating a hydraulic lifting machine to access stock stored at height
· Lifting, carrying and moving large cartons weighing up to 20 kg
· Assisting with unloading shipping containers and incoming deliveries
· Participating in stocktakes and inventory checks
· Helping to identify and resolve stock discrepancies
· Assisting with picking and packing customer orders when required
· Maintaining a safe, clean and well-organised warehouse
· Working collaboratively with the wider warehouse team
About you
We are looking for someone who is: · Reliable, punctual and committed to consistent attendance
· Physically capable of safely lifting and carrying cartons weighing up to 20 kg
· Comfortable working at height using a hydraulic lifting machine
· A self-starter who can work independently and manage their own workload
· Organised and able to maintain accurate stock locations
· Proactive and willing to identify what needs to be done
· A positive team player who is happy to assist wherever required
· Safety-conscious and comfortable working in a physical warehouse environment
· Able to follow instructions while also taking ownership of the role
· Legally entitled to work in Australia
Previous warehouse, inventory or stock-replenishment experience would be beneficial but is not essential. Training on the hydraulic lifting machine will be provided if required.
