We are seeking a Warehouse Assistant to join our dynamic team at Euroluce in Alexandria, NSW. This is a full-time position that plays a vital role in fulfilling orders and other functions in our warehouse and distribution centre. As a Warehouse Assistant, you will be essential part of the team, ensuring that goods are handled efficiently, safely and accurately.
Your contribution will directly impact our ability to deliver quality service to our customers and support the broader objectives of our established team.
What you'll be doing
- Receiving, unloading and inspecting incoming goods and materials
- Organising and storing inventory in designated warehouse locations
- Picking and packing items according to customer orders and delivery requirements
- Operating warehouse equipment safely, including forklifts and pallet jacks where appropriate
- Maintaining accurate inventory records and assisting with stock counts
- Labelling and organising goods for dispatch
- Ensuring the warehouse environment remains clean, safe and compliant with health and safety standards
- Loading and unloading vehicles for outbound shipments
- Assisting with general warehouse housekeeping and organisation
- Following all company policies, procedures and safety protocols
What we're looking for
- Physical fitness and ability to perform manual labour, including lifting, carrying and standing for extended periods
- A valid driver's licence (preferred but not essential)
- Experience in a warehouse, distribution or logistics environment (preferred)
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems or inventory software (desirable)
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy when handling goods and documentation
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritise tasks efficiently
- Commitment to workplace safety and compliance with health and safety regulations
- Reliability and punctuality
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn
