Overview of Role

This is a fulltime position reporting to the Site Manager and will be based in Acacia Ridge, Brisbane. Working closely with the Operations, Sales and Supply Chain teams you will lead a team of approximately 11 direct reports across 3 shifts to effectively manage and streamline the Warehouse and Distribution activities for the Acacia Ridge operation. You will oversee the receipt, storage, and despatch of goods with the focus on exceeding customer expectations whilst driving a strong safety and continuous improvement culture.

The Warehouse Manager - Acacia Ridge will be responsible for:

- Demonstrate a strong commitment to maintaining a safe workplace by promoting high housekeeping standards and effective traffic management practices.
- Foster a positive safety culture and drive continuous improvement initiatives while building team engagement and morale.
- Manage daily warehouse operations within a fast-paced picking and distribution environment to achieve operational targets.
- Review existing processes and procedures,



identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing sustainable solutions.
- Continuously assess warehouse layout and material flow to maximise space utilisation, improve efficiency, and maintain safe traffic management protocols.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives across all inbound and outbound warehouse operations.
- Ensure all warehouse documentation, including labels, consignment notes, and shipping documentation, is processed accurately and in a timely manner.
- Maintain high levels of raw material availability to support production schedules and minimise operational disruption.
- Conduct weekly cycle counts and annual stocktakes in accordance with company procedures, investigating and reporting significant inventory variances.
- Manage inventory movements and stock control processes to maintain a high level of Inventory Record Accuracy (IRA).
- Coordinate and schedule the efficient loading and unloading of trucks and shipping containers.
- Provide leadership to direct reports through coaching, performance management, and participation in operational meetings.
- Conduct monthly pallet reconciliations, ensuring CHEP pallet balances are accurate and documentation is maintained.
- Monitor and control labour hours to ensure wages remain within budgeted targets.
- Champion Chain of Responsibility (CoR) compliance by ensuring adherence to all relevant road transport safety legislation.




- Manage freight and distribution expenditure to achieve budget objectives while maintaining service levels.
- Promote open, respectful, and effective communication across all departments and levels of the business.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable ISO, HACCP, GMP, and AIB standards, policies, and procedures.
- Coordinate routine servicing, preventative maintenance, and repairs for forklifts and warehouse equipment to ensure operational reliability and safety.

The right candidate will be or have: · Energetic with a focus on delivering results and leading the site management team.

· Commercially astute and the ability to exercise mature judgment.

· People management experience with proven ability to support the development of high performing work teams.

· Proven warehouse & inventory control and people management experience with a minimum of 5 years’ experience.

· Expertise in warehouse procedures and best practices.

· Proven ability to implement process improvement initiatives.

· Strong knowledge of warehousing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).

· Strong decision making and problem-solving skills.

· Strong computer skills - with good Excel spreadsheet and ERP capabilities.

Qualifications/Requirements:

- Certificate IV Warehousing Operations (preferred)
- Certificate IV in Leadership and Management (preferred)
- Demonstrated experience in Warehousing & Management positions, ideally in a manufacturing environment.
