Cockburn Central

Some warehouses just move boxes...

This one keeps trades and builders across the country working, and it needs someone who treats that responsibility like it actually matters.

We're recruiting on behalf of a growing supplier of decking, fencing and screening products for an experienced Warehouse Manager to lead their Cockburn operation.

You'll be the one who oversees every shipment, order and every dispatch happens safely, accurately and on time and the one your team looks to when something needs sorting out properly.

You will

- Supervise a team of four experienced store people.
- Supervise the day to day warehouse operations, including receiving, picking, packing and dispatch.
- Oversee truck receipting and inventory accuracy, keeping turnaround inside 24 hours and dispatch inside 2 days.
- Drive picking and packing accuracy toward zero errors, and lead quarterly stocktakes to 100 percent accuracy.
- Own safety compliance and incident reporting, working toward zero incidents and a clean audit record.
- Train, coach and develop your warehouse team so they perform, and stick around.
- Coordinate with Logistics, Procurement and Operations to solve problems before they become someone else's headache.
- Identify and implement process improvements that make the warehouse faster and more accurate, not just busier.

This role suits someone who genuinely likes running a tight operation, not just supervising one. You'll be judged on results you can see:

on time shipments, clean stocktakes, a low to zero incident rate, building a team culture that everyone wants to be a part of.

If you take pride in a warehouse that runs itself properly when you're not standing over it, this is your kind of role.

You'll likely bring

- Australian/ Permanent working rights
- Forklift Licence
- Open Drivers Licence
- 3 to 5 years in warehouse, logistics or supply chain, including time supervising or leading teams.
- Solid working knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory control and dispatch processes.
- Confidence with warehouse management systems and reporting tools.
- A safety first mindset and the discipline to manage incidents and hazards properly, not just tick a box.
- Excellent organisational, leadership and communication skills, and the ability to hold a team to a standard without losing them.

You'll be joining a business built on five clear values: One Team, Drive Positive Change, Exceed Expectations, Do What's Right, and Bring Your Best Self, backed by a genuine pathway into senior warehouse or operations roles and exposure to process improvement and safety projects along the way.

If you're ready to run a warehouse that actually matters to the trades and builders who rely on it, we'd like to hear from you.

For a confidential conversation, contact me, Allan Stuart, at Itch on [08 6140 1800](tel:08 6140 1800).
