An established Australian manufacturer supplying specialised products to the commercial, industrial and construction sectors is seeking a hands‑on Production Foreman for its Canning Vale manufacturing facility.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced production leader, factory supervisor or leading hand who enjoys being involved on the floor, supporting employees and ensuring production is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard.

Reporting to the site’s senior management team, you will coordinate daily manufacturing activities, allocate labour and help maintain a productive and positive workplace.

About the role

Your responsibilities will include:

- Supervising and coordinating day-to-day factory and production activities
- Leading, supporting and providing direction to production employees
- Allocating labour and equipment according to the daily production schedule
- Monitoring workflow, productivity and completion of customer orders
- Ensuring products are manufactured to the required quality specifications
- Promoting protected work practices and ensuring workplace procedures are followed
- Conducting pre-start meetings, toolbox talks and daily production briefings
- Identifying production delays, equipment issues and process improvements
- Coordinating with production planning, maintenance, dispatch and management
- Training and developing employees across production processes
- Maintaining accurate production, safety and quality records
- Assisting with incident investigations and corrective actions where required
- Supporting a culture of accountability,



teamwork and continuous improvement

About you

To be successful, you will ideally have:

- Previous experience as a Production Foreman, Production Supervisor, Factory Supervisor or Leading Hand
- Experience supervising employees within a manufacturing, fabrication, steel, building‑products or similar industrial environment
- A practical, hands‑on leadership style
- Strong communication and people‑management skills
- The ability to organise labour and meet daily production requirements
- A good understanding of workplace safety and quality requirements
- The confidence to address performance, attendance and workplace issues appropriately
- Good problem‑solving skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure
- Basic computer skills and the ability to complete production records and reports
- A current forklift licence or relevant trade background would be advantageous
