Job Description

Technical Sales Representative position at The Trustee for DEREK MCKERCHER FAMILY TRUST t/a PSW Energy. We are looking for a full‑time (at least 38 hours per week) skilled Technical Sales Representative to perform the following duties.

- Building and maintaining a pipeline of prospective residential and commercial clients across Western Australia interested in solar, battery storage, and EV charging solutions, using company databases, referrals, and industry contacts.
- Holding extensive technical knowledge of current solar panel, battery storage and EV charging products.
- Review, specify and design residential and commercial renewable energy systems.
- Maintaining knowledge and understanding of product offerings, competitor offerings, and WA market conditions.
- Conducting site visits and client consultations to identify opportunities for solar, battery, and EV charging installations, and to progress these into confirmed sales.
- Assessing each client’s energy usage and property requirements, then recommending and explaining suitable itemised solar, battery, or EV charging packages tailored to their needs.
- Tracking shifts in customer requirements and competitor activity within the renewable energy market, and reporting relevant trends and insights to management.
- Preparing and negotiating quotations, pricing,



and payment terms for solar, battery, and EV charging packages, and finalising contracts and purchase orders with clients.
- Coordinating with internal installation and technical teams to arrange delivery of equipment, scheduling of installations, and provision of PSW Tech Support services.
- Reporting to management on completed sales and the market performance of solar, battery, and EV charging products.
- Following up with clients post‑installation to confirm satisfaction with their system and PSW Tech Support experience, resolving any technical or service issues raised.
- Preparing sales activity reports and maintaining records of client interactions and business expenses incurred in the course of sales activities.

- At least 3 years of proven experience within the renewable energy sector.

Position: Full time (at least 38 hours per week)
Salary: $79,000 – $150,000 per year
Location: 1/42 Pinnacle Drive, Neerabup, WA, 6031
