Our Clerkship Program

For a head start in your legal career, apply for a clerkship in our Brisbane office. You’ll work alongside experienced lawyers, gain first‑hand insight into the work of a lawyer at Allens, and contribute to real matters while supported by a partner, senior lawyer, and a junior lawyer.

We offer clerkship programs across two periods—one over summer and one over winter—to coincide with university holidays.

- Summer: 16th November – 11th December 2026
- Winter: 14th June – 9th July 2027

Clerks gain:

- a personalised induction program
- on‑the‑job training with support from a partner, senior lawyer and a junior lawyer who act as your performance coach, development lawyer and buddy, providing guidance, feedback and coaching
- learning opportunities across practice areas and partners, as we don’t work in silos

Eligibility and Requirements

Applications are open to students in their penultimate or final year of a law degree.
