We are currently recruiting for casual Registered Nurses to join our nearly established Urgent Care Clinic in Yanchep. With the potential to move into permanency with time.

We are looking for a friendly and efficient team member who is looking for diversity in your role and enjoys a fast pace professional environment.

As a casual employee you will be required to be flexible to cover shifts which could include weekdays, afternoons and rotation weekend hours. The Urgent Care Clinic will be open 7 days a week from 7am to 7pm as well as 7am to 7pm weekends and public holidays.

Our clinical team is committed to delivering high quality clinical care and customer service and support to our doctors and patients.

Skills & Experience
Previous experience working in a general practice, urgent care facility or ED is essential
Ability to work in a quick paced and dynamic environment
Strong communication and time management skills
A caring and collaborative approach to patient care and services
Best Practice knowledge or any other clinical software, preferred but not essential.
Ability to multi-task and show attention to detail
Ability to work autonomously or collaboratively within a team
Dedicated and enthusiastic work ethic
Experience and training in childhood and adult vaccinations
Bright, engaging and confident personality





The successful applicants will assist with the smooth operation of Urgent Care Clinic.

Registered Nurse (Urgent Care Clinic) Duties:
Triaging patients and coordinating care
Performing comprehensive and accurate nursing assessments
Treatment of a variety of presentations of adults and pediatric patients: including, but not limited to, Injuries, Burns, UTI's, STI's, Infections, Respiratory conditions, Fractures, Chemical exposures
First line treatment for medical emergencies
Assisting the doctors with procedures
IV medication administration

Essential Experience:
Minimum 2 years of experience in Acute setting
ALS Certification
Performing ECG's
IV Insertion
Burns Management/Dressings
Wound Management

Desirable Experience:
Splinting/Plastering/Immobilisation
ECG Interpretation
Suturing/Applying wound adhesive
PV Examination
Pediatric experience
