We’re on the lookout for service technicians to work from our depot at Gawler. You may be an experienced mechanic specializing in diesel engines, or a technically skilled professional eager to refine and expand your expertise. This is your opportunity to step out of the workshop and into a role that offers field work and autonomy.

What You’ll Do

- Service and repair frost fans on customer sites
- Use your mechanical expertise to assess, diagnose and resolve issues
- Work autonomously across the region — travel, overnight stays, and weekend work may be required during peak season
- Liaise directly with growers and contractors to coordinate service visits
- Accurately complete service reports and paperwork
- Maintain high safety standards in every job
- Occasional travel is needed, including seasonal overnight and some weekend work

What You’ll Bring





- Either proven mechanical experience — ideally working with diesel engines, ag equipment, or industrial machinery
- A solid understanding of mechanical safety, fault-finding, and preventative maintenance
- Or you might have just 1-2 years’ experience ready to take direction and learn new skills
- A self-starting mindset — ability to work independently and manager your own workload
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors and at heights
- Confident using digital tools for reporting and scheduling

Desirable (but not essential)

- MR truck license
- Forklift license
- EWP license
