WAREHOUSE SENIOR SUPERVISOR - CONSTRUCTION EQUIPMENT - WESTERN SUBURBS
Our client a major heavy capital equipment who are a global firm and well respected require a Senior Warehouse Supervisor for their busy state of the art work site environment in Truganina.
Hours of work- 8am - 4.30pm, Flexibility to work additional or varied hours as and when required
They will give you support for career advancement.
A super package is on offer for a person that has worked as a Senior warehouse supervisor- we are looking for a person that has been in this position for at least the past 3 - 4 years leading a team in the warehousing setting.
You will require the following skills:
Experience in barcoding systems would be preferred.
Highly desired you will have warehousing skills in capital equipment, agricultural equipment, construction equipment, large forklifts, earth moving equipment.
Excellent Presentation and communication- excellent phone manner- Able to think on your feet, deal with any issues that may arise. - Manual handling tasks.
Ability to carry out dispatch operations, including picking, packing, shipping, dealer transfers, consignments, and related warehouse activities.
Excellent organizational skills - Strong attention to detail
Current forklift licence with demonstrated proficiency
Stock-taking and inventory management- maintaining a neat and tidy warehouse
Experience in warehouse setup and maintenance including stock takes, cycle counting - Logistics experience with courier and freight providers such as Star Track, TNT, Toll and similar supplier services.
Location planning and upkeep, Bulk Storage management,
Must have a forklift licence - this is a must have
Receipting and dispatching - loading and unloading in and outgoing machinery
Able to work overtime if and when required
Honest, reliable, excellent people skills. Good IT and admin skills
Able to work in a fast-paced warehousing environment area and get on well with other team members
Must have sound computer literacy, including proficiency with Microsoft office application. Skills and have worked pick and pack
Understand stock control systems programs and work in the OH & S company guidelines that are required
Must live in the Western Suburbs and have a current Victorian drivers licence
