As we continue to build our leadership capability, we are seeking an experienced and astute General Manager (GM) – Operations to play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering our mining operations strategy.

Position Overview

The General Manager – Operations is accountable for the leadership, management and performance of all mining and processing operations for Maritana Minerals.

Reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer, this executive leadership role will work closely with the senior leadership team to deliver the Company's mining and processing strategy and production growth objectives.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering safe, sustainable and cost-effective mining and processing outcomes while ensuring operational readiness, production performance, workforce capability, contractor management and continuous improvement initiatives support the successful execution of Maritana’s growth strategy.

As a key member of the senior leadership team, the GM Ops will contribute to strategic planning, operational excellence, stakeholder engagement and organisational culture.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

- Tertiary qualifications in Mining Engineering, Metallurgy, Mineral Processing, Engineering or a related mining discipline.
- Statutory Supervisor, Underground Managers (non-coal), Quarry Managers (Schedule 26), WA WorkHealth and Safety (Mines) Regulations would be advantageous.
- Significant senior leadership experience with exposure to managing cross functional teams.
- A history of management and leadership accountability with a demonstrated ability to generate measurable improvements in safety, production and financial performance.
- Strong business and financial acumen, negotiation skills,



including commercial contract management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels of the organisation.
- Excellent writing skills with a high proficiency in Board-level and operational report writing.
- Ability to liaise effectively with a broad range of corporate, mine personnel and external stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple mines and stakeholders simultaneously while maintaining delivery discipline.
- Sound planning, organising and people leadership skills.
- Strong administrative skills and attention to operational governance.
- Accurate with good attention to detail.
- Good time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
- Valuable at multitasking and prioritising in a high-pressure environment.
- Current Australian drivers licence, able to pass a site medical and obtain an E18 Police Clearance.

Location, Travel and Flexibility

This position will be residential in Kalgoorlie or FIFO from Perth to the Goldfields on an 8/6, 4/3 roster.

The GM Operations will be expected to provide visible leadership across Maritana’s operations, maintaining a substantial on-site presence to lead operational performance, build capability within site teams and strengthen stakeholder relationships across the Goldfields region.
