Autex is a global leader supplying a diverse range of interior acoustic products for walls and ceilings to markets all over the world. We manufacture and dispatch these products across Australia from our Essendon Fields facility. We are made up of experienced individuals who operate in a supportive and close network.

We are seeking applications from experienced Store Workers to join our dedicated and friendly warehouse team, on a casual basis.

These roles will be based at our purpose-built facility at Essendon Fields working 6am - 2pm Monday to Friday.

Key Responsibilities:

- Physical receipt, storage, picking, issuing, and packaging of acoustic materials
- Unloading and loading of trucks
- Timely put away of container stock and transferred materials, both physically and in our inventory system
- Sorting and consolidating inventory by type, colour and batch




- Liaise with line operators to process manufacturing demands and with production schedulers when there are stock discrepancies affecting production
- Active participation in stock takes and cycle counts
- Plan future capacity requirements with the warehouse manager and provide statistics when required
- Ensure stock quality standards are kept, and all designated workspaces are clean and orderly (5S principals)
- Participation in weekly team meetings
- Report and document all safety issues for entry into our safety portal

Key Skills and Experience:

- Recent experience in warehousing and manufacturing
- Current forklift license required
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Motivated self-starter who can work unsupervised and meet set deadlines
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong commitment to health and safety.
- Physically able to undertake some bulk lifting duties.
