About the role

Blake's Waterproofing Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Waterproofing Applicator to join our growing team in Brisbane, QLD. This is a full-time position that offers the opportunity to work on diverse projects across residential and commercial properties throughout Brisbane and surrounding areas. As a Waterproofer, you will play a critical role in protecting buildings and structures from water damage, applying your expertise in waterproofing systems and techniques to ensure the longevity and integrity of our clients' investments.

This role is essential to maintaining Blake's Waterproofing reputation for quality workmanship and exceptional service.

Key responsibilities

- Assist management to conduct site assessments to identify waterproofing requirements, quote and recommend appropriate solutions to clients and project managers
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, repairing and priming areas prior to waterproofing application
- Apply membranes, sealants, coatings and other waterproofing products in accordance with Australian standards, NCC specifications and manufacturer guidelines
- Measure, cut and install all angles & hobs
- Perform quality inspections of completed work to ensure compliance with project specifications and industry standards
- Complete and maintain accurate records of work completed, (i.e. photos, measurements and invoice details) materials used and project timelines
- Collaborate and communicate with colleagues, management, other tradespeople, project managers and clients to ensure seamless project delivery
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations (SWMS)



and site-specific safety protocols or inductions
- Maintain tools, equipment and vehicle (if applicable) are in good working condition and report any maintenance issues

What we're looking for

- Minimum 3+ years of experience as a Senior Waterproofer, preferably in the Residential building industry
- Proven expertise in applying various waterproofing systems including liquid membranes, cementitious coatings, sealants and installing angles (hobs)
- Strong knowledge of waterproofing applications in residential settings
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality finishes
- Valid Australian driver's licence and Construction (white) card
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
