Weekend Event Staff – Roaming Dessert Cart

We’re looking for 2 friendly and reliable casual staff members to join our roaming dessert cart team for weddings and special events.

About the role

As part of our premium event team, you’ll wear a lightweight roaming dessert box secured with a harness and serve cannoli, tiramisu and other desserts directly to guests. You’ll help create a luxury experience by providing exceptional customer service while maintaining a polished and professional appearance.

Key responsibilities

- Wear a lightweight roaming dessert box securely attached with a harness throughout the event.
- Serve desserts to guests in a friendly and professional manner.
- Deliver exceptional customer service and create a memorable guest experience.
- Assist with set up and pack down when required.
- Maintain a clean, organised and professional presentation at all times.

What we’re looking for





- Aged 18 years or over.
- Friendly, confident and outgoing.
- Reliable, punctual and well presented.
- Available to work weekends.
- Comfortable standing and walking for approximately 2-hour shifts while wearing the roaming dessert box.
- Previous hospitality or customer service experience is preferred but not essential.
- Barista experience is highly regarded and may lead to additional opportunities with our premium coffee cart at future events.
- Must be willing to wear a premium formal uniform, including a tuxedo-style outfit, and present to a high skilled standard.
- Comfortable being photographed and filmed during events for use on our business social media pages and marketing content.
