Workfast is looking for an experienced Welder / Boilermaker to join our manufacturing and distribution team in Penrith. We are seeking a skilled tradesperson who takes pride in their work and is looking for long-term stability with a global leader.
About You The successful candidate will be a trade-qualified or highly experienced Welder/Boilermaker with a strong background in a manufacturing setting. You must be reliable, hardworking, and able to work independently or as part of a team to meet production deadlines.
- Pay Rate: up to $52 p/hr OT and Super
- Hours: 6:00 am to 2:30 pm
- Location: Penrith, NSW

What You Need
- Trade Qualification in Fabrication or First Class Welding (or equivalent years of proven experience)
- Proficient in MIG and TIG welding (Steel and Aluminium experience highly regarded)
- Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
- Experience using overhead cranes and a variety of power/hand tools
- Computer literacy is a MUST for reporting and production tracking
- Must pass a pre-employment Drug & Alcohol test
- Own transport and valid driver’s licence
- Commitment to safe work practices and a high attention to detail
What You Will Be Doing
- Fabricating and welding components for industrial moulds and products
- Reading technical drawings to ensure precise assembly
- Carrying out structural repairs and modifications to factory equipment
- Using overhead cranes for material positioning
- Assisting with the fit-out of products using hand and power tools
- Completing all production paperwork and digital logs accurately
- Ensuring all work meets strict quality and safety standards
- Collaborating with the production team to streamline manufacturing processes
