About the role

We're seeking an experienced Workday Production Preparedness Consultant to join our team at AJQ on a 12 month contract basis.

The position will support the Transition Manager to satisfy operational acceptance deliverables and production preparedness by focusing on crafting the Operating- & Support Models, Hypercare Strategy and Support on the Transition planning on governance and Cutover.

The Workday Production Preparedness Consultant will be responsible for delivering the Production Preparedness scope of UTS’ Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) program of work. The Workday Production Preparedness Consultant will be responsible for supporting the Deployment Stream to be adequately prepared for the multi-phase Cutovers.

Key responsibilities

- The Workday PP Consultant will have close working relationships with the internal Teams, Heads of Enterprise Platforms and Business Operations Technology and other technology owners who are impacted by the ERP Program solution.
- The role will also collaborate with Finance, People Unit and Faculties where there are Production Preparedness impacts to be agreed to or considered with special reference to the Operating- and Support Model.
- Expected to work closely with the change stream to ensure that all impacts are understood, documented and communicated and included in the change planning for a smooth adoption process.
- Ensure vendors or suppliers providing goods or services.




- Have close liaison with the Workday System Integrator for Production Preparedness Review etc.

- Industry peers and counterparts with respect to sharing of knowledge and learnings on initiatives of mutual interest.
- Provide guidance and leadership on the overall Workday Production Preparedness for the ERP Program to ensure there is alignment with the strategic goals and objectives.
- Specific focus to develop the Operating Model, including the Support Model, SOPs, Governance etc. and Support Team readiness

- Incorporate the WSP A+ and AMS-services into an integrated Support Model and ensure the Support Team, Platform, Business & Technical Owners have an engaged understanding of the Support and Operating Models
- Assist with the recruitment and set-up of the Support Team and apply Workday experience and knowledge to bring the best possible candidates to the table
- Craft Hypercare Strategy and criteria associated with the Transition and Hypercare phases

- Be responsible as the single point of contact between Workday, the SI-Partner and UTS for all the Workday Production Preparedness Review (PPR) planning and activities
- Review the Cutover, Freeze Period and Decommissioning plans and provide inputs required for crafting and finalizing workable,



validated execution plans
- Assist in planning and executing the Dry Runs and Dress Rehearsals

- Plan out the on-boarding and incorporation of the AMS-teams and ensure there is a seamless set up leading into Hypercare
- Assist with the Cutover execution and embedment of the Support Team and AMS through Hypercare into BAU

What we're looking for:

- Proven experience in Workday ERP program delivery and ability to demonstrate that setting up Support Teams and models was a key part of previous roles
- Experience (7+ years) working in successful ERP implementations, navigating complex program landscapes and delivering exceptional results
- 5+ years’ experience in Workday, or similar cloud product, program delivery roles
- Relevant tertiary qualification, and relevant experience; Or an equivalent level of knowledge gained through any other combination of education, training and/or experience
- Project Management Professional (PMP), PRINCE2, or equivalent certification is preferred.
