GYC Mower Depot is looking for an organised and customer-focused Workshop Administrator to join our team.

GYC is a family-owned business that provides equipment sales, spare parts, servicing and repairs for leading brands including Honda, STIHL, Toro, Victa, Greenworks and Cub Cadet.

About the Role

The Workshop Administrator is responsible for supporting the day-to-day operation of our busy service department. You will be the main point of contact between customers, technicians, suppliers and management, helping ensure workshop jobs are booked, updated and completed efficiently. This role will suit someone who enjoys customer service, administration and working in a quick-paced team environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Coordinate workshop bookings for equipment servicing and repairs.
- Provide professional customer service in person, by phone and email, including repair updates and collection notifications.
- Prepare job cards, repair estimates, invoices and process customer payments while maintaining accurate records.
- Obtain customer approval before repairs commence and manage workshop documentation and administration.
- Order spare parts, monitor outstanding orders, and liaise with suppliers regarding parts and warranty claims.
- Coordinate repair schedules with workshop technicians and management to ensure efficient workflow.
- Organise equipment collections and deliveries.
- Maintain an organised workshop reception and administrative area.

About You





The successful applicant will have: · Strong customer service and communication skills

· Good administration and computer skills

· The ability to manage multiple jobs and priorities

· Strong attention to detail

· A professional and helpful approach with customers

· The ability to remain organised in a busy environment

· Confidence speaking with customers about repairs, estimates and timelines

· The ability to work independently and as part of a team

· A current Australian driver’s licence

Previous experience in workshop administration, automotive servicing, machinery, spare parts, service advising or a similar role would be highly regarded. Knowledge of outdoor power equipment is helpful but not essential, as training will be provided.
