From our Acacia Ridge branch, our expert team looks after customer and company-owned equipment - providing breakdown, fault finding, preventive and routine maintenance services across. Our workshop and yard operations teams are therefore critical to our continuing success.
On-going business growth presents our team with the opportunity to hire an important position in keeping our workshop and yard organised and humming: Yard Coordinator. Could this be the job for you?
Here's what you'll be doing:
- Reporting to the Workshop Manager, you will be coordinating and organising forklifts, equipment and other assets across the yard and the workshop.
- Maintaining yard and workshop general tidiness and presentability
- Fuelling up forklifts (on site) upon return from hire
- Arranging deliveries
- Loading and unloading containers and trucks
- Meeting and greeting customers on site
- Pressure cleaning and detailing forklifts in preparation for hire and sale
- Keeping equipment condition records, recording all damages and accurately receipting equipment and accessories into the site
- Checking safety requirements of all equipment to be hired

Here's what it takes:
- Experience working in a similar role in a workshop or industrial yard setting
- Physical fitness and capability to undertake the lifting requirements of the role
- Current driver licence and forklift ticket
- Customer-focused attitude
- Initiative and self-motivation to recognise the opportunities for improvement and deliver the solutions.
- Intermediate computer skills and familiarity with related systems.
- Basic mechanical aptitude.
- Willingness to undertake a pre-employment medical assessment, including drug and alcohol screening
