Gallerie is currently seeking a passionate and experienced Senior Colour Consultant to join our busy team on a full-time basis in Port Melbourne. The right candidate will possess a passion for design, the ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.

Reporting directly to the Gallerie Manager, this role is responsible for assisting customers to make the right colour and design selections and electrical choices for their home.

Key responsibilities

- Assist clients with their colour selection and design process in a professional and timely manner
- Ensure the right options and advice is given to clients to assist them in making the right selections for their home
- Provide in person colour selection appointments
- Guide clients through internal and external colours
- Conduct electrical consults
- Create colour documents for internal and external selections
- Complete and amend administrative documents
- Resolve client concerns and issues
- Managing multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining exceptional client service
- Maintain the Gallerie Showroom at all times

Required qualifications

- Minimum 5 years' experience as a Colour Consultant including minimum of 2 years’ experience consulting within the volume builder industry.
- Qualification in Interior Design and/or Decoration
- Robust ability to read and interpret floor plans as well as ability to use design scheduling and markup software
- Strong attention to detail and eye for design




- Well presented with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Able to be flexible and work as part of a team
- Exceptional organization and time management skills and ability to meet deadlines
- Available to work 1 Saturday a month
