The Role
This permanent part‑time role offers 35 hrs per fortnight at our Lefroy Care Centre, Bull Creek. It requires proficient time management skills to execute cleaning tasks effectively, including vacuuming, sweeping, dusting, and mopping designated areas according to a set cleaning schedule. Building and maintaining positive relationships with colleagues and residents is essential.
Work Schedule
- Week 1: Monday 08:00‑13:00, Tuesday 08:00‑12:00, Thursday 08:00‑13:00
- Week 2: Monday 08:00‑13:00, Thursday 08:00‑13:00, Sunday 08:00‑13:00
Please note,
you must be able to commit to all days/shifts to be considered.
Key Responsibilities
- Vacuum, sweep, dust, and mop all designated areas
- Maintain appropriate resident interactions in line with organisational values
- Consider resident lifestyles and personal choice
- Maintain effective interpersonal relationships with others, utilizing appropriate channels for assistance, guidance and concerns
- Respond to emergency cleaning requirements as directed
About You
As a Hospitality (Cleaning) Services worker, you will play a vital role in creating a fresh, welcoming environment.
- Evidence of current flu vaccinations per Amana Living policies
- Ability to obtain a National Police Clearance (within 6‑month validity)
- Successful completion of pre‑employment physical and reference checks
- NDIS Screen Check (or willingness to obtain at interview stage)
- Willingness to attend a paid 1‑day (Monday) induction at our Rivervale Training Institute
- Effective communication skills and the ability to develop understanding relationships with residents
- Experience working in hospitality service roles, preferably as a cleaner in an aged care/hospital environment
