Melbourne

BC Game is one of the world's leading crypto-first gaming companies, behind a portfolio of platforms built on a straightforward belief: technology is a transformative force, and the future of online gaming belongs to those bold enough to build it. Since 2017, we have grown into a global community of millions of players, with more than 10,000 games and over 150 cryptocurrencies supported across our platforms.

What sets us apart is how we build. We set the standard for transparency and fairness through open‑source code and provably fair games, and we move at pace, shipping constantly across casino, sports, and live entertainment. We are not here to follow the industry. We are here to shape it.

Above all, we are a team of builders, problem‑solvers, and original thinkers from all over the world, united by the belief that the best products come from bringing different perspectives together. Now we are bringing that ambition to Melbourne, building a group of exceptional people who want to do the defining work of their careers, take real ownership, and shape global products from the ground up.

About the role

This is a newly created role supporting our growing Melbourne office, reporting directly to the Head of People. The role is an even split between recruitment and HR administration: you will run full‑cycle recruitment for our Melbourne hiring, and act as the on‑the‑ground HR administrator for the office. It is a genuinely varied role: one day you might be screening candidates and coordinating interviews, the next you are issuing an employment contract, helping test a new HR system, or supporting a policy update.

This is a hands‑on generalist position suited to someone who wants real responsibility early in their career, enjoys the mix of recruitment and operations, and is motivated by improving processes rather than just following them. You will work closely with, and be guided by, the Head of People, with scope to take on broader HR generalist work as you grow into the role.

What you will do

Recruitment

- Support end‑to‑end recruitment for the Melbourne office: drafting and posting job advertisements, sourcing, screening, and shortlisting candidates
- Organise and coordinate interviews across multiple stakeholders and hiring managers, keeping the process moving without unnecessary delays
- Manage candidate communication throughout the process, ensuring a professional and timely candidate experience from application to outcome
- Extend offers and issue employment contracts
- Help build our employer brand in Australia, so the best people know who we are and want to join us

HR administration and compliance

- Prepare, issue, and file employment contracts and related documentation in line with Australian employment law
- Maintain accurate, compliant, and well‑organised employee records
- Act as the first point of contact for day‑to‑day HR queries from employees and hiring managers in the Melbourne office
- Manage onboarding and off‑boarding end to end, ensuring new starters have a smooth first experience and departures are handled properly
- Support payroll‑adjacent administration where relevant, liaising with Finance or external providers as needed

Policies, procedures, and systems

- Support the Head of People in designing, documenting, and rolling out HR policies and procedures as the Melbourne office scales
- Assist with evaluating, implementing, and administering recent HR platforms and systems, including data migration and training staff on new tools
- Contribute to broader international HR projects as the function matures

What you bring

- Two to four years' experience in a recruitment,

HR administration, or HR generalist role, ideally in a fast‑paced or high‑growth environment
- Demonstrated experience managing full‑cycle recruitment, from job posting through to contract issuance
- Solid working knowledge of Australian employment law and HR compliance requirements
- Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple hiring processes and administrative tasks at once without dropping detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, comfortable liaising with candidates, employees, and senior stakeholders alike
- A professional and discreet approach to confidential and sensitive information
- A genuine self‑starter mentality, comfortable building and improving processes rather than simply following existing ones
- Full Australian working rights

What would set you apart

These are a bonus, not a requirement.

- Exposure to iGaming, crypto, or another fast‑moving international industry
- Experience supporting HR policy design or process improvement projects

What we offer

- Market-competitive salary with a performance bonus, reviewed annually
- Real ownership and career progression as you help build the People function from the ground up
- Learning and development budget for courses, certifications, and conferences
- Annual leave, plus a birthday day off, wellness days, marriage and graduation leave, a day for your child's first school day, and extra leave that grows with tenure
- Health and wellbeing support to look after you in and out of work
- Brand new, central Melbourne office, stocked with snacks and drinks
- Team lunches and regular company events

Inclusion and access

BC Game is an equal opportunity employer. We welcome applicants of every background, identity, and experience, because we believe the best teams are built from different perspectives. If you need any adjustments to take part in the process, please let us know.
