Billing Officer - Accounts Receivable & Credit Control
This is an exciting chance for an Accounts Receivable Officer with previous experience in the Aged Care Industry to join our accounts team.
The Billing Officer is responsible for the accurate and timely billing of resident accommodation fees, means-tested care fees, basic daily fees, additional services, extra service fees and other resident charges in accordance with Government legislation, funding arrangements and organisational policies. The role is responsible for the Accounts Receivable function, including debt collection, resident account reconciliations, payment allocations, Direct Debit administration, liaison with residents and their representatives, and ensuring outstanding debtor balances are actively managed.
Qualifications
- Previous Aged Care experience in Accounts Receivable is a distinct advantage.
- Diploma or Degree in Accounting or related discipline.
- 3+ years’ experience in accounts receivable / billing / credit control position.
- Self-starter with good organisational and time management skills.
- Strong team player with an ability to be flexible to work across functions.
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Hold the values of Empathy, Honesty, Respect and Loyalty.
