Job Summary
In this role, you will lead the University’s flagship Campus Canteens and Social Dinner programs. You will shape student wellbeing, connection and equity through nutritious, affordable food and inclusive program design. You will gain experience managing student teams, partnerships and data‑driven service improvement in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead the end‑to‑end operations of Campus Canteens and Social Dinner across Parkville and Southbank.
- Manage food safety, processes and workflows to ensure compliant, efficient and student‑centred food relief services.
- Oversee budgets, supplier relationships and student staffing, supporting performance, development and financial sustainability.
- Develop and deliver multi‑channel communications that promote programs and demonstrate impact to key stakeholders.
- Build partnerships and lead data collection, analysis and reporting to inform service improvement and governance.
Qualifications & Experience
- Hold relevant tertiary qualifications or bring an equivalent blend of education and related experience.
- Bring demonstrated experience managing programs balancing community impact with operational and financial sustainability.
- Use solid analytical skills to interpret data, generate insights and report clearly to senior stakeholders.
- Coordinate communications across social media, digital and print channels, including Instagram and student news.
- Lead and develop staff teams, ideally student employees or interns, with clear expectations and support.
- Operate confidently with Microsoft Office, Excel, Power BI and Canva, with high attention to detail.
