Payroll Specialist - APAC

A leading global technology organisation is seeking a Payroll Specialist (APAC) to join their collaborative payroll team.
This role offers the opportunity to deepen your exposure to regional payroll operations while managing a high-volume Australian payroll environment. You will partner closely with internal stakeholders and payroll providers to ensure accurate, compliant and timely payroll delivery.
This position will suit a payroll professional with strong end-to-end Australian payroll experience who is curious about stepping into a more global payroll environment.

Key Responsibilities
- End-to-end payroll processing within a high-volume workplace
- Supporting payroll operations across APAC jurisdictions
- Managing reconciliations, variance analysis and payroll reporting
- Ensuring compliance with Australian payroll legislation and statutory requirements
- Partnering with internal teams and external providers
- Supporting payroll process improvements and system efficiencies
- Handling complex payroll queries and escalations

Payroll Setting




- Monthly payroll of approximately 1500
- Hybrid working model
- Spreadsheet-driven payroll validation processes
- Exposure to regional payroll operations

About You
- Strong end-to-end Australian payroll experience
- Experience working in high-volume payroll environments (500+ employees)
- Intermediate Excel skills (lookups, pivots, reconciliations)
- Solid tenure demonstrating reliability and ownership
- Understanding of Australian payroll legislation and state-based differences
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage complex payroll queries
Experience or interest in APAC payroll operations will be highly regarded.
