As a Membership Consultant, you create the culture of the gym. You are one of the faces of the business; a passion to help people is a must! We want you to create a fun and non-intimidating atmosphere for all members with your Team.
This is a growth role, for someone to develop with the team and build a career in the fitness industry.
You are also responsible for the success of the business.
Skills Required
- BE HAPPY!
- Excellent oral and written communication
- Be naturally excellent with people
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
- Good natural sales person - Min 1 years experience in a Sales Role required
- Strong Leadership of a team - Min 1 years experience in a leadership role required
- OR 2 years of just sales experience
- Be efficient
- Ability to problem solve
- Computer literate
- Social media savvy (confident on camera)
- Fitness Industry experience preferred but not required
The Role
- Selling Memberships
- Follow daily procedures for club operations
- Hitting daily/ weekly/ monthly KPI's
- Being the fun, engaging, helpful,
and genuine point of contact for our members.
- Administration, filing, computer based admin
- Contacting members by phone, email, and SMS and improving their member experience
- Greeting guests to the Club
- Engaging members on the Club floor and improving their member experience
- Showing guests our facilities and highlighting their features and benefits
- Follow Club procedures daily basis
- Ability to travel between locations
Must Haves:
- Current Working with Vulnerable People or Children Check.
- Current First Aid Certificate.
- Current CPR Certificate.

Previous customer service experience in retail or similar sectors are desirable. Proficiency in using computers and social media platforms is mandatory. An interest in a healthy lifestyle is important, we don't need you to be an athlete, just be able to promote your values to our members.
