About the opportunity
As Principal HR Advisor, you will provide high-level strategic and operational HR advice, lead significant projects and organisational initiatives, and contribute to workforce strategies that support TIQ's priorities.
Working collaboratively across the organisation, you will help build capability, strengthen workforce practices and drive continuous improvement. Your work will span workforce planning, learning and development, employee engagement, equity and diversity, policy, organisational development, and employee health, safety and wellbeing.
In this role, you will:
• Lead strategic HR projects and organisational initiatives from planning through to implementation and evaluation.
• Provide practical, high-quality HR advice across the employee lifecycle.
• Identify emerging workforce trends, risks and issues, and develop strategies aligned with legislation and organisational priorities.
• Develop and review HR policies, procedures, tools and resources that promote consistency, compliance and continuous improvement.
• Provide strategic advice, briefs, reports, submissions and executive documentation to support sound decision-making.
• Build productive stakeholder relationships and develop innovative HR solutions that strengthen organisational capability.
About you
You will be an accomplished HR professional with experience delivering complex projects,
programs and initiatives. You can balance strategic thinking with practical delivery, exercise sound judgement and manage competing priorities without compromising quality.
To succeed in this role, you will demonstrate:
• Broad strategic and operational HR expertise, supported by sound knowledge of relevant legislation, policies and frameworks.
• Experience leading complex HR projects and organisational initiatives through to successful delivery.
• Strong communication and relationship-management skills, with the ability to build trust and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
• Well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills, adaptability and a commitment to continuous improvement.

Employment details
This is a fixed-term,
part-time job-share opportunity for 12 months, with the possibility of extension. The role is 0.6 FTE, working three days per week, with Wednesday to Friday preferred - however these days are adaptable.
