Cremorne Prestige Service Pty Ltd is an established automotive service and repair business located in Cremorne, NSW. We provide professional servicing, diagnostics, repairs and maintenance for a range of vehicles, with a focus on quality workmanship, reliability and customer service.
We are seeking a qualified and experienced Motor Mechanic / Automotive Technician to join our team on a full-time basis.
Position Duties
The successful applicant will be responsible for:
- Diagnosing mechanical, electrical and vehicle system faults using diagnostic equipment and technical knowledge
- Carrying out vehicle servicing, repairs and maintenance in accordance with manufacturer specifications
- Inspecting engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension, steering and other vehicle systems
- Repairing and replacing worn, defective or damaged mechanical components
- Performing road tests and final inspections to ensure repairs are completed properly
- Maintaining accurate service records and repair documentation
- Ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard
- Liaising with service advisors and workshop staff regarding repair requirements and vehicle progress
- Keeping the workshop area clean, organised and compliant with workplace health and safety requirements
Required Skills and Experience
The successful applicant must have:
- Relevant trade qualification in automotive mechanical technology or equivalent
- At least 2 years of relevant post-qualification experience as a Motor Mechanic or Automotive Technician
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- Experience with vehicle servicing, mechanical repairs and fault finding
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Positive communication skills and strong attention to detail
- Current driver licence preferred
