The Opportunity

This is an exciting leadership opportunity for an experienced electrical professional looking to take ownership of multi-residential projects ranging from 45 to 100+ apartments.

Depending on your experience, you will join ACOT Group as either a Leading Hand or Site Supervisor, with a clear pathway for career progression. You'll play a key role in delivering projects from construction through to successful handover, working closely with Project Managers, builders, clients, subcontractors, and site teams to ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and to the highest quality standards.

For experienced Site Supervisors, this role offers the autonomy to lead site operations and manage project delivery from start to finish. For Leading Hands, you'll be supported in developing your leadership skills while taking on increasing responsibility as part of your career progression within ACOT Group.

Key Responsibilities

Site Leadership

- Lead, supervise and mentor electricians, apprentices and subcontractors onsite.

- Foster a positive, accountable and high-performing team culture.

- Coordinate daily site activities to ensure productive workflow and productivity.

Project Delivery





- Manage construction sequencing and look-ahead programming.

- Coordinate labour resources to meet critical project milestones.

- Monitor project progress and proactively resolve onsite challenges.

Logistics & Procurement

- Complete material take-offs and coordinate site deliveries.

- Ensure materials, plant and equipment are available to maintain uninterrupted workflow.

Stakeholder Management

- Build strong working relationships with builders, project managers, consultants and other trades.

- Represent ACOT Group professionally onsite and maintain clear communication across all stakeholders.

Quality & Compliance

- Maintain exceptional installation standards through regular quality inspections.

- Deliver defect-free handovers while ensuring compliance with project specifications.

Safety & Risk Management

- Promote and enforce a strong safety culture.

- Ensure compliance with Workplace Health & Safety requirements.

- Identify and manage site risks before they impact project delivery.

Reporting

- Attend site coordination meetings.

- Provide accurate progress updates and communicate site requirements to the management team.

About You

We're looking for motivated leaders who take pride in their work and enjoy building strong teams and successful projects.

You'll ideally have:

- Current Queensland Electrical Work Licence (Electrical Mechanic)

- Current Construction White Card

- Current Open Driver's Licence

- Experience as an Electrical Leading Hand or Site Supervisor on multi-residential projects

- Strong understanding of construction sequencing and apartment building methodologies

- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and specifications





- Excellent communication and leadership skills

- Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities

- A proactive, solutions-focused attitude with a commitment to quality and safety

Previous experience delivering multi-residential developments ranging from 45 to 100+ apartments will be highly regarded.
