We are currently partnering with multiple listed and large organisations that are seeking experienced commercial professionals to play a crucial role in the successful delivery major programs. They are senior-level positions designed for an individual who can provide end-to-end commercial, contractual, and risk management support across a diverse, high-value program of projects.

Those roles require a strategic, solid commercial leader capable of operating autonomously within a complex delivery workplace. You will be responsible for whole-of-portfolio accountability for commercial outcomes, ensuring sound governance, robust contract administration, and proactive risk mitigation throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

- Act as a trusted advisor to project managers and delivery teams, providing quality commercial leadership and driving positive outcomes while balancing risk, cost, and schedule.
- Lead and support the contract management administration of major construction . Provide expert guidance on variations, claims, extensions of time, and contractual correspondence.
- Provide strategic advisory and commercial advice from project initiation and business case development through to contract closure.
- Ensure commercial governance, compliance with organisational frameworks, maintain contract integrity,



and hold contractors accountable for performance commitments.
- Coach and mentor project teams, building commercial capability and fostering a culture of accountability and proactive risk management.

What You Bring

- A minimum of 5 -10+ years of senior commercial management experience within major projects, infrastructure, or capital works environments.
- Relevant degree in a related field (e.g., Law, Engineering, Quantity Surveying or Commerce)is preferred.
- Deep knowledge and practical experience in administering major works/construction contracts (familiarity with standard Australian AS series or similar is highly regarded).
- Ability to operate at a senior level, challenging assumptions and managing competing stakeholder interests with resilience and credibility.
- Commercial Mindset with solutions-focused, pragmatic, and capable of identifying commercial risk early to develop effective mitigation strategies.
