Title: Junior High Head Cheerleading Coach

Tryout:March

First Practice:August - December

Fall - Junior High Football

Winter - Junior High Basketball

Qualifications:

- Knowledge of cheerleading skills and the ability to coach those skills
- Ability to make decisions under pressure
- Ability to develop winning strategies
- Ability to motivate players
- Exceptional leadership skills
- Must have excellent communication skills
- Must have the ability to organize and supervise the program
- Be seen in the community as a strong leader/role model to our student athletes

Requirements:

- Must be 18 years of age
- Have at least a high school diploma or GED
- Must be trained to drive Activity Bus
- Must complete 5 mandatory online NFHS Learn courses prior to the first practice
- Complete and pass an Expanded Criminal Background and CPS Check

Compensation:

- Competitive pay based upon experience

Reports to: Athletic Director and Varsity Cheerleading Coach
