Remuneration Package

Remuneration package valued at up to $156,253.00. Base salary ranges from $90,177.00 to $137,861.00, plus leave loading and employer's contribution to superannuation. Base salary rates above the minimum are available depending on experience.

Job Overview

Glenmore Park High School is a modern, co‑educational, comprehensive high school in Western Sydney, located in a community experiencing significant growth. The school has an enrolment of approximately 950 students, 8% Aboriginal, and includes a special education unit of eight classes. The school provides excellent opportunities for individual student success in a caring educational environment. Upskilling Opportunities

- Upskill on the job with two years of supported teaching experience, or
- Apply for a Teach and Learn Scholarship (TAS) and receive financial support while completing recognised university‑level study while working.

Specific Selection Criteria

- Approval to teach Technology Mandatory and Food Technology,



or preparedness to retrain by undertaking further study or via on‑the‑job experience supported by the NSW Department of Education.
- Demonstrated capacity to implement effective classroom management strategies and deliver differentiated teaching programs that support student growth and maintain high expectations for all learners.
- Demonstrated ability to manage practical workspaces to ensure student safety, full participation and sustained engagement throughout lessons.
- Well‑developed interpersonal, communication and organisational skills with the capacity to contribute collaboratively within the TAS faculty and across whole‑school programmes.

Conditions

An unconditional full approval to teach is a requirement. If you do not hold a full approval to teach with the NSW Department of Education, you are required to commence the application process at the same time as you apply for this teaching opportunity.

If you are new or returning to the Department of Education and have relevant prior professional experience, you can submit a Salary Determination for Classroom Teachers application form to request a salary determination. Until the outcome of any such determination is confirmed, your salary offer will remain at Step 1 then be updated at a later date (typically a 1–2 week processing time post receipt of the form). applicants seeking either permanent full‑time or permanent part‑time work are encouraged to apply.
