About the Role
We are seeking a high‑performing Cyber Security Sales Specialist to drive growth across strategic enterprise accounts by identifying, qualifying, and closing cybersecurity opportunities. The role requires a results‑oriented sales professional with strong background in cybersecurity, cloud, managed services, and solution‑based selling, who works closely with Client Managers, Pre‑Sales Architects, and Technology Partners to develop compelling security solutions that help clients reduce risk, strengthen resilience, and achieve their business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain deep knowledge of cybersecurity solutions, services, and market trends.
- Act as a trusted advisor throughout the sales cycle, addressing technical and business challenges.
- Develop expertise across Managed Security Services and Professional Security Services.
- Stay current on the competitive landscape, pricing strategies, and emerging market opportunities.
- Collaborate with leading technology partners including Microsoft, Palo Alto Networks, Google/Mandiant, Cloudflare, Proofpoint, and Cisco.
- Build strong relationships with executive stakeholders such as CISOs, CIOs, and CSOs.
- Conduct discovery sessions, workshops, and executive presentations to understand client business objectives and cybersecurity challenges.
- Articulate business value and outcomes rather than simply selling products.
- Perform gap analysis and recommend tailored cybersecurity solutions.
- Develop compelling business cases and value propositions.
- Identify and develop new opportunities within existing and target accounts, converting qualified leads into revenue‑generating opportunities.
- Build and maintain strategic account and opportunity plans; manage short,
medium, and long‑term sales pipelines.
- Forecast accurately and execute against revenue targets.
- Partner with Client Managers and technical teams to shape winning solutions, scope and document cybersecurity solutions aligned to customer requirements.
- Develop commercial models, proposals, and solution configurations.
- Lead negotiations and close complex cybersecurity engagements, ensuring opportunities are effectively managed through the sales lifecycle.
What You’ll Bring
- Proven success in cybersecurity, cloud, SaaS, or technology solution sales.
- Strong experience selling Cyber Security Managed Services and Qualified Services.
- Track record of exceeding sales targets and quotas.
- Experience selling complex enterprise solutions to C‑level stakeholders.
- Experience within the Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance (BFSI) and Government sectors.
- Experience developing new business and expanding strategic accounts.
- Ability to navigate complex stakeholder environments and long sales cycles.
- Existing relationships within the Financial Services and Government sectors (highly desirable).
- Experience with solutions from leading vendors such as Microsoft, Palo Alto, Google/Mandiant, Cisco, Proofpoint, or Cloudflare (highly desirable).
Qualifications
- Degree in Business, Technology, Sales, or related discipline preferred.
- Training or certification in Solution Selling, SPIN Selling, Scotwork, or equivalent negotiation methodologies.
- Cybersecurity vendor certifications (e.g., AWS Cloud Practitioner, Microsoft Azure Fundamentals) or equivalent cloud certifications desirable.
Skills & Attributes
- Consistent achievement and over‑achievement of sales targets.
- Strong executive presence and stakeholder management skills.
- Deep understanding of cybersecurity market trends and competitive positioning.
- Exceptional presentation, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to develop and execute strategic sales plans.
- Client‑centric approach focused on solving business challenges.
