We're partnering with one of Australia's leading equipment hire businesses to find an experienced Major Projects Sales Manager to lead growth across Queensland. This is a genuine opportunity to influence the direction of the business, working alongside Executive Leadership to secure some of the state's largest infrastructure, mining and industrial projects.

This isn't a role where you'll inherit a portfolio and simply maintain it. It's about opening doors, building long-term partnerships and being the person who helps shape what's next.

What you'll be doing

- Building relationships with Tier 1 contractors, major project owners and key industry stakeholders.
- Identifying major project opportunities early and turning them into long-term business.
- Developing growth strategies across Brisbane and regional Queensland.
- Working closely with Branch Managers, Regional GMs and Executive Leadership to grow market share.
- Supporting the wider sales team on major opportunities and strategic pursuits.
- Growing both hire and capital equipment sales across major projects.
- Keeping a close eye on market activity, upcoming projects and competitor movements.




- Representing the business at industry events, networking functions and client meetings.

About you

You’ll already have credibility in the Queensland market and a strong network that you've built over years in the industry. You'll also bring the following:

- Extensive experience in Major Projects, Business Development or Strategic Account Management.
- A proven track record winning work with Tier 1 contractors or major project clients.
- Strong commercial acumen and a history of delivering sales growth.
- Excellent relationship-building and negotiation skills.
- The ability to work autonomously while partnering with senior leaders across the business.
- Experience within construction, mining, industrial services, equipment hire or a related sector.
